That everyone wanted to sing
And what if I painted a picture so real
It does not look like it was in oil or ink
And what if I wrote a story
That caused you to stop and think
The funny thing about and what if
Is the fact of its appeal
People want to take that idea
And turn it into something real
So the next time you say And What If
